Nanny Herne was always kind to me and was one of the few who consistently sent me letters while I was in basic training for the Army and while I was deployed to Afghanistan; those letters helped make the time go by and were greatly appreciated. For Ginnie's family this is the end of an era. The matriarch has passed and will leave a deep emptiness behind . She and Raymond were so generous and welcoming to us over the years. We will deeply miss their presence in this world ..May they now rest in peace together.
