William A. Spiegel (Bill) , 85 years old, died on December 10, 2021, due to Alzheimer’s disease. He is survived by his wife, M. Bernetta (Bea) Spiegel (nee: Harris);  Devoted father to Andrew W. Spiegel (Vicki), Karen M. Cavanaugh (Mark), and Stefanie Beauchamp (Bill); Predeceased by his parents William H. Spiegel and Margaret (Sauer) Spiegel; Survived by his brother Joseph A. Spiegel and brother-in-law Gary W. Harris (Debra); Predeceased by sister-in-law Marie Earlene Michalowski and Kathleen Spiegel; and brother-in-law Joseph (Buddy) Harris; Proud grandfather of Alex, Connor, McKenzie (Jake), Taylor, Tyler, Rebekah, Kearsyn, Adam, Shane, Lauren, Michelle (Brian), and Noelle (Matt); Loving great grandfather to Pierce and Eliza; Also by many nieces, nephews, family and friends, especially family friend Helen Donning.

Bill was born, raised and lived his entire life in the Baltimore area. He served his country in the U.S Army.

Professionally, Bill worked for BGE for 33 years before retiring. He then worked for the Baltimore County Council office for many years.

Bill was very devoted to his community, serving for many years in a variety of positions with his local community association.

Bill loved the outdoors and enjoyed biking, hiking, fishing and walking.

Family and friends may gather for a Memorial service on Saturday, December 18th from 10 am to 12:30 pm at CVACH/ROSEDALE FUNERAL HOME 1211 Chesaco Ave. Memorial Prayers will begin at 12:30pm.  Interment Private.
