Stanley Zacharkiw Obituary

On February 27, 2025, Stanley Leonard Zacharkiw passed away suddenly. Loving brother of Marlene H. Wankowski (Walter); Beloved son of the late Stanley Alexander Zacharkiw and Helen Theresa Zacharkiw (nee: Majka). Loving Uncle of Melissa Witemore (Michael), Jennifer Karolkowski (Jason), and Matthew Wankowski.  Great-Uncle to Michael, Amanda, Jacob, Natalie, and Sophia. Great-Great-Uncle to Emma.

Affectionately known as “Stan” or “Stas,” he was an avid sports fan and enjoyed attending Orioles, Ravens, and Capitals games throughout the years. Stan enjoyed traveling and especially spending time in Ocean City, Maryland.  He retired from the Social Security Administration and enjoyed a second career as a bus driver for Baltimore County Public Schools.  Stan shared a fondness for animals, especially his pet birds.  Most of all Stan will be remembered for his love, devotion, and willingness to always support his extended family.
