On October 5, 2025, Michael Alan Feibel Sr. passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the family he cherished most.
Born on June 24, 1952, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Joseph William Feibel Sr. and Gloria Lee Feibel (née Collins), Michael grew up with a strong sense of duty and ambition. His earliest dream was to serve his country as a Naval Officer, and he proudly joined the Navy when he came of age. His love for the water never waned—he dedicated 48 years as a longshoreman and stevedore on the waterfront at the Ports of Baltimore, where his work ethic and camaraderie left a lasting impression.
On January 4, 1975, Michael married his sweetheart, Louann Feibel (née Glorioso), beginning a lifelong partnership filled with devotion and laughter. Their wedding song, Time in a Bottle, became a symbol of their enduring love. Together, they raised three beloved children: Michael Alan Feibel Jr., Angelina Marie Feibel, and Traci Michelle Feibel-Travers.
Michael was a proud and loving grandfather to Christopher LeBlanc, Louis Feibel, Elizabeth Lee, George Bussard V., Devan Kummer, Cherylynne Feibel, Destini Kummer, and Ayden Travers, and a joyful great-grandfather to Mason LeBlanc and Ace Bussard. He was a dear brother to Mary Ellen White, Joseph William Feibel Jr., Barbara Reisinger, and the late Ruth Byrd.
Beyond his family and career, Michael was deeply involved in his community. He served as Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 11615, a role he held with honor and commitment. He found joy in simple pleasures—cheering on the Baltimore Ravens, playing billiards and bowling, sharing laughs with his closest friend, and delighting in the antics of their pet bird. The Big Bang Theory was a favorite source of laughter, always bringing a smile to his face.
Michael will be remembered for the values he instilled in those around him: self-sufficiency, hard work, unwavering support, and above all, love. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
