Marylou Carrie Casey

Marylou Carrie Casey, age 80, born to Mary Cassedy and Charles Edwin Casey, passed away at Dulaney Valley Assisted Living in Cockeysville, MD, on July 13, 2023, due to a long illness. 

Born on February 8, 1943, in Baltimore City, one of six children, she excelled at school in music and loved dancing. She married John Francis Madigan in October of 1960. 

In 1972, she began working for Baltimore County Public Schools as a bus driver and later became a bus attendant, retiring in 2018 after nearly 50 years.  Along with her passion for working with children, she enjoyed socializing while selling Avon items. She was a member of the Red Hatters and the local chapter of the Moose. Her ideal weekend included bingo and being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in her death by her siblings Frank Casey, Sharon Frazier, Julia Wright, Charles Casey, and William Casey, as well as her granddaughter Jessica Marie Sowards.

Survivors include her children and their spouses: Shawn and Gary McDonald, Micheal Madigan, Zahra and James Madigan, Patrick and Stacy Madigan, Mary and Donald Wilson, and Ellen Madigan and Todd Moore; grandchildren: Lisa Bateman, Gary McDonald, Carrie Wilson, Katie Wilson, Charlotte Moore, and Beatrice Moore; great-grandchildren: Kevin Friedl, Hudson Simmons, Judah Sowards, Avery Sowards, Molly Sowards, and Lydia Sowards.

Visitation Monday 3-5 pm and 7- 9 pm at the CVACH/ROSEDALE FUNERAL HOME 1211 Chesaco Ave. Funeral Services Tuesday 11:30 am. Interment Parkwood Cemetery.
