Most, Mary H. March 15, 1935-January 02, 2025
On January 02, 2025, Mary Helen Most (nee: McDonough) age 89, beloved wife of the late Charles Joseph Most Sr. went to be with our Lord. Devoted mother of Charles Joseph Most Jr. and his wife Alison, and the late Kenneth and Christopher Most. Dear sister of Robert McDonough and his wife Letty, and Joan Smith. Loving grandmother of Kenneth Most, Jr., Alana Beall (Timothy), Christina Most, Kimberly Murphy (Matthew), and Amanda Most, great-grandmother of London and Elliott Beall, Sebastian and Liam Fitzpatrick, Avery & Colson Murphy, Allyanna Wells and Cayden Robinson. Also preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Kenneth McDonough, siblings Annabell, Catherine, Kenneth, John, Margaret, William, Marty and Marlene. We want to extend appreciation to her two caregivers, Margie Lotz & Arlene Small.
Mary was a lifetime Baltimore resident of Foster Ave in Highlandtown. She grew up there with her 10 siblings. Mary’s father worked on a tugboat while her Mother tended to raising the children. Mary attended Patterson High School and worked at the infamous “Blue Moon” soda shop where she met Charlie, her husband. They married in August of 1952. Mary worked at the Federal Reserve Bank, downtown Baltimore. Eventually, they moved to Miami to follow Charlie’s family. After 18 months they returned to Baltimore to live on Pratt St. In 1957 they moved to Jeannette Ave in Dundalk. In 1968 they moved to Customs Rd. in Rosedale where she continued to live until 3 months prior to her death. Mary was known to always be a very feisty person. Mary also enjoyed volunteering at Franklin Square Hospital.
Friends may gather at the CVACH/ROSEDALE FUNERAL HOME 1211 Chesaco Ave. on Saturday, January 11th between 10:30 – 11 am for a procession to the Oak Lawn Cemetery for 11:15 am graveside services (indoor). Those wishing to go directly to the Oak Lawn Cemetery may arrive at the Cemetery at 11am.
