On June 9, 2023, Lilia Zelmira Perez (nee: Lilia Malaspina Orduna VDA Perez Castro) passed away at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Rogerio Perez Castro; Devoted mother of Jose Carlos Perez Malaspina, Jose S. Perez Malaspina and her eldest son Juan Andres Balarezo Malaspina preceded her to heaven.

Lilia, was born in Peru, to her parents, Francisco Malaspina Bryson and Ricardina Orduña Zevallos. She received her bachelor's degree and went on to teach in the public school system. She touched the lives of so many with her wisdom and her kind heart.
