In Loving Memory of Lawrence Umukoro

We honor the life of Lawrence Umukoro, a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and faithful servant of God. Born in Nigeria and a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Lawrence dedicated his life to hard work, family, and faith.

A proud father to Great-Anthony and Light Umukoro, and loving grandfather to Great-Josiah, he was also the cherished son of Jeremiah and Grace Umukoro, and a beloved brother to Charles, Gloria, Walter, Patricia, Nelson, Andrew, Helen, and Taiye. His love extended too many dear relatives, including Sister Henrietta, Sister Misan, Uncle Watson, Uncle Sunny, and Sister Theodora.

Lawrence served the State of Maryland with dedication, rising to the rank of Sergeant as a Correctional Officer. Known for his generosity, compassion, and heart of gold, he lived out his Christian faith in every act of kindness.

We thank God for his life and the love he shared. May he rest in the eternal peace of the Lord.
