LYNN DiGENNARO Obituary

On May 24, 2025, Lynn Michael DiGennaro, beloved husband of 49 years to Patricia Anne DiGennaro (nee: Oechsler). Devoted father of Michelle DiGennaro, Gina Loskot and husband Steven, and Joseph DiGennaro and wife Mary. Dear brother of Mina L. Engle and the late Michael S. DiGennaro. Loving grandfather of Dominic and Damien Holcomb and Max Loskot.

Family and friends may gather from 10-11 am to celebrate a life well lived on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the CVACH/ROSEDALE FUNERAL HOME 1211 Chesaco Ave. Memorial Service to begin at 11 am.  Interment Private.

Known by many nicknames - such as Rio and Frank - Lynn embraced countless roles throughout his life. After graduating from Dundalk High, he enlisted in the Navy, embarking on a ten year career in military service. During his time in the Navy, he attended the IBM program and earned the Joint Services Commendation Medal for his work as a Computer Programmer and Analyst.

After retiring from the Navy, Lynn continued to leave his mark on the world through his work with the City of Baltimore. Notably, he was involved in the placement of the first fiber optics infrastructure in the city. Though he was able to retire early, his passion for teaching and technology did not diminish. At The Catholic High School of Baltimore, he taught technology skills to students and worked to keep the school up-to-date with modern networking advancements.

Beyond the workplace, Lynn excelled at photography and wine making, and was always happy to share his talents with others. He was active in the Sons of Italy (past President of the Towson-Dulaney chapter), the American Legion Post 180 (Historian), the Moose Lodge, and the Knights of Columbus. His dedication to his community extended to his faith, and he participated in the St. Clement parish council and the marriage preparation program.

A man of many talents and achievements, Lynn was never one to brag about anything but his family. He was unwavering in his principles and convictions, and yet even more steadfast in his love and support of his family. His legacy will live on in the lessons he taught and the laughter he shared freely with all who knew him.
