On January 10, 2021, John Donald Pfeifer (Donny) grew up with an indelible love for baseball. His love and respect for his parents was unmatched. Donny retired from being a physical therapist at Montebello Hospital. (Pop) was a beloved husband of Marle Pfeifer; Devoted father Gregory M. Simmons and his wife Heidi, Timothy J. Simmons and his wife Laura; Dear grandfather of Justin, Kaitlin, Kathrin, Julia and JoAnna; Dear son of the late John L. Pfeifer and Matilda Grace Pfeifer; Dear nephew of the late Gil and Ray Jones; Dear cousin of Joyce Glock and her husband Wilmer and their children Erin and David.
Graveside services Friday, 11 am at Oaklawn Cemetery.
