Joella was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 12, 1952 to Charles & Theresa Franz. She worked for over 38 years as a school bus driver for Baltimore County Public Schools. She also drove a school bus intermittently for the Harris Bus Company during her career. Joella truly loved George and they did everything together: traveling, watching tv (O's games, Hallmark, Westerns, and Jeopardy to name a few), spending time at their cabin near Lancaster, going to dinner shows, auctions, Orioles games, doctor appointments, preparing for holiday gatherings, and spending time with their grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, including cheering for them at a variety of sporting events/races, recitals, and plays. She truly loved George and he truly loved her; they took care of each other and now they are together again. She will be missed by many and will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
