Eileen A. Seling (nee Myers), beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, at the age of 87.
She was a devoted and loving mother whose greatest joy was her family. She carried that same love into her role as grandmother and great-grandmother, taking pride in each generation and the legacy of care she quietly built over a lifetime.
She had a deep love for quilting, a craft through which she expressed both creativity and patience. Each quilt she made was a gift of warmth, comfort, and love—much like the way she lived her life. Cooking, baking, vegetable canning, gardening and early Sunday morning flea market trips were also traditions she loved sharing, especially with her grandchildren. Eileen and her twin, Elaine also shared the love of wreath-making for family members around the holidays. She also valued her privacy and found peace in the simple, quiet moments at home.
She will be remembered for her gentle presence, steady devotion, and the love she gave so freely to those closest to her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and in the many handmade treasures she leaves behind.
Eileen was preceded in death by her late husband Bernard C. Seling, Jr., 11 siblings and many in-laws. She is survived by her twin sister Elaine aka Poss or Auntie, her daughters Sandra and her husband Ed, Cheryl and Susan, grandchildren Megan, Morgan, Taylor and Logan, great-grandsons Colt and William, special family friends Kim and John, many nieces, nephews and a sister-in-law, Theresa.
In keeping with her wishes, graveside services will be private. In honor of Eileen, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
