In Loving Memory of Edith Marie Lawrence
October 28, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Edith Marie Lawrence, who left this world on October 28, 2025. Edith was a cherished wife to the late Ralph Emerson Lawrence, a devoted mother to Shannon Roberts, Gabrielle Matthews and her husband Kelly, and a dear sister to Joann Livingston, the late Mary Sue Edwards, and the late James S. Hall Jr.
Her legacy lives on through her loving grandchildren: Megan Roberts, Rachel Turchin, Jaden Matthews, and Isaiah Matthews. Edith was also a proud great-grandmother to Malachi, Aries, and Armani Ross, who brought her immense joy.
Edith's life was a testament to grace, kindness, and unwavering faith. She touched the lives of all who knew her, offering love, wisdom, and a joyful presence that will never be forgotten. Her strength and devotion to her family were an inspiration, and her memory will continue to guide those she leaves behind. As we say goodbye to a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, we find comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved her. Her family has comfort knowing her soul is at peace and find strength in their cherished memories.
