Christopher E. Goldbeck passed away on January 25, 2022, at The Harmony Collection at Roanoke - Memory Care located in Roanoke, VA. Born September 25, 1949 in Baltimore, MD, Chris was a retiree of the Baltimore City Police Department, an avid home chef/grill master, and a lover of all thing’s Florida. Chris was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and friend. Chris is preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Katherine Ann Eichner Goldbeck, his parents Christopher and Victoria Goldbeck, and his brother Gerard Goldbeck. He is survived by his children Ashley Maurer and her husband Casey Maurer, Dorsey Fowley and her husband Tagart Fowley, and Christopher Goldbeck, IV and his wife Julia Goldbeck, his granddaughters Lily Miklosovic and Daisy Goldbeck, his step-grandson Hayden Osborne-Maurer, his sister Victoria Wilson, his brother Joel Goldbeck, as well as in-laws, nieces, nephews, and other extended family. A memorial gathering will be held from 3-5 on Saturday, February 12, 2022. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
