Carolyn Benedetta Obituary

On April 3, 2020 Carolyn Diane Benedetta (nee: LeBrun). Beloved wife of the late Samuel Benedetta. Devoted mother to S. Joseph Benedetta (Candace) and Donna Bentley (Fred). Dear sister of Donald LeBrun and Paul LeBrun. Loving grandmother to Jennifer Perricone, Joseph Benedetta, Samantha Hawthorne, and F. Scott Bentley. Cherished great grandmother to Emily Perricone, Abigail Perricone, Ella Hawthorne and Luke Hawthorne. Also survived by her best friend and companion, Richard Mitchell.

Born and raised in Baltimore, Carolyn was one of eleven children of William and Catherine (Bohle) LeBrun.  She was a lifelong resident of Baltimore.

Many will remember her for the years she dedicated to the roller skating programs at Rosedale Elementary and McCormick Elementary.  She loved crossword puzzles, bowling, and playing cards with her friends.  She was a loyal Orioles fan and let you know it if you mistakenly called while a game was on.  She loved spending time with family, and nothing made her happier than a night out with steamed crabs.

Donations in her name can be made to American Turners Endowment Trust located at 1040 North Farnsworth Avenue, Suite 1114, Aurora IL 60505-2096.

Graveside service 12 noon on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
