Alexa Cowger Obituary


Alexa Jacquelyn Cowger, 45, of Rosedale, MD passed on Saturday, March 17 at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center due to a cardiac event.
Lexie was born in 1973 in Winchester, VA. She attended James Wood High School, the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and was a devoted employee of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) for over 20 years.
Lexie is survived by her loving fiancé of 24 years, Mark Weeks; her twin brother, Jackson Cowger; father Jack Cowger; step-mother Sandy Cowger; cousins Bonnie, Jenna, Brandon and Braeden Woolwine; cousins Keith Nesselrodt, Jed and JR Ashby, Jessica Peer; Aunt Helen, Uncle Mike and their son Keith Humphrey; Aunt Carol Lentz; and step-brothers Chris and Mike Howe.
Lexie was preceded in death by her loving mother Nancy Caudle; step-father Jim Caudle; and cousin Vivian Nesselrodt.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3-5pm and 7-9pm on Thursday March 22 at Cvach/Rosedale Funeral Home, 1211 Chesaco Avenue, Rosedale, Maryland 21237. Private cremation to follow.

Lexie will be missed greatly for her caring, nurturing and fun personality. She was selfless and always made sure that you knew you were loved. Lexie was a wonderful, creative, loving and fun person who will be missed greatly by many.
