James, Frank H. III

     Frank H. James III died after a brief illness on May 19, 2017. Beloved husband of Linda James; father of Frank H. James IV and the late William James of Rosedale; devoted brother of Stephen J. James of Connecticut, Michael S. James of New York, and Melissa M. James of Randallstown, MD; he is also survived by granddaughters, KC James and Ashley James and grandson William J. James; he was the loving great-grandfather to Mia Pratt.

      Mr. James, a graduate of Loyola College with a master’s degree from Morgan State, taught English and journalism at Patterson High School. He also coached tennis and produced the Patterson school newspaper. Frank also loved music and playing the guitar.

       Family and friends will honor Mr. James’ life at the Cvach/Rosedale Funeral Home, 1211 Chesaco Avenue, Sunday May 21, from 2:30-3:30pm with a memorial service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Maryland SPCA or the Patterson Alumni Association.
