On Friday January 26, 2018 Dorothy A. (Dot) Brooks (nee: Davis) loving wife to the late Russell A. Brooks Sr. Loving mom to Richard, his wife Linda, her late son Russell and his late wife Cecelia. Grandmom to Russell, Angela, Celena, Gina, Tina and Aubre’. Great grandmom of David, Maria Micheal, Matthew, Brandon, Jonathan, Nico and Royce. Great-great grandmom of Jason and Sophia. Also survived by Eric Fleming, who was her neighbor and thought of him as another son.

She lived in Rosedale all her life. She was an avid gardener with flowers popping up in her yard from Spring to Fall. She cherished her roses. She and her husband raised their two sons in the home her father built for them. She loved her grandchildren so much and praised how she was so proud of them. “ A grandma is to her family what sunshine is to her flowers”
